The FIFA Foundation Community Programme supports organisations that use football as a tool for social change and improve the lives of underprivileged people around the world. Once a year, the FIFA Foundation invites well established non-profit entities to apply for project funding in order to use football as a tool to address social issues impacting youths, such as education, health, peacebuilding, refugees, leadership, inclusion and gender equality. All projects supported in the context of the FIFA Foundation Community Programme contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals:
- Good health and well-being
- Quality education
- Gender equality
- Reduced inequalities
- Sustainable cities and communities
- Peace, justice and strong institutions
