The FIFA World Cup 2026™ – the first edition of football’s greatest showpiece to feature 48 teams – will include a comprehensive ticketing programme for millions of spectators from around the world. In preparation, FIFA is seeking proposals from interested parties that outline their ability to deliver a ticketing solution for the event at the highest possible industry service levels, while demonstrating a financially viable and sustainable business solution for an event taking place across Canada, Mexico and the United States. Therefore, FIFA is undertaking an in-depth review of the ticketing services provided at the FIFA World Cup™, offering a unique opportunity for parties within the sports and event ticketing industry to get involved. The RFI documents will be available upon request and outline the information requested by FIFA to assess a provider’s suitability for inclusion in any potential future procurement process. It is an information gathering process, which may be used as a precursor to a procurement process regarding the ticketing solution for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and other future FIFA competitions.
