USA's FIFA Women's World Cup-winning coach in 1999 Tony DiCicco passed away at his home on 19 June 2017 at the age of 68.
DiCicco's son Anthony published the following statement on behalf of the family.
His accomplishments include winning the aforementioned Women's World Cup, the nation's second at the time, and an Olympic gold medal for USA at Atlanta 1996, the first edition of women's soccer at the Games.
