  • Led by the player at the top of the world rankings

  • Find out more about Team QLASH

In 2017, two professional poker players decided to create their own eSports team and, in the blink of an eye, Team QLASH became a big name in the European eSports market. This season has also seen them become one of the hottest properties in FIFA eSports.

They are lucky enough to have the current No1 in the PlayStation world ranking list – 'QLASH_Crazy' – an Italian who shocked the world by finishing second in the most recent FUT Champions Cup in Bucharest, underlining the rich vein of form he has been enjoying since the season began. Team-mate 'DrNightWatch' has also been able to prove his worth of late, making his debut on the professional scene with FIFA 18 and reaching the play-offs for the Global Series in both years since then.

The Bulgarian also made a name for himself as an analyst with the broadcast team at the FUT Champions Cup. Along with 'Sanchez', who is currently representing Basaksehir in eClub World Cup qualifying and who also featured on the Recap Show last week, he is one of the best players to come out of Bulgaria.

Team QLASH have made it all the way to the top of European Pillar 4 Tier 1, sitting pretty on 35 points after the latest round of matches. The team has racked up 96 goals already, making them by far and away the most efficient outfit in the group when it comes to putting away chances. By way of comparison, Team FUTWIZ in second place have scored just 65.

While Team QLASH have been outstanding so far, the last two matchdays are make-or-break. On 18 and 19 December, it will be all about maintaining pillar status, then on the final weekend – 21 and 22 December – the aim is to finish among the top three teams in the group or be the best fourth-placed team in Europe. Only these teams will make it through qualifying and into the eClub World Cup 2020, to be held 7 – 9 February 2020.
