  • Brief resume of Rogue and Aldossary’s paths to date

Rogue is an eSports organisation from the USA which was founded by Frank Villarreal and Derek Nelson. It focuses on two main markets, Las Vegas and Berlin, which is where most of their teams are located, and which are piloted from their main office in New York.

After involvement in Counter Strike, League of Legends and a number of other games, Rogue added FIFA to their portfolio for the first time in 2017.

Their eFootball debut last season was an unqualified success for the organisation with Mosaad "Msdossary" Aldossary – the only player on their books at the time – becoming the second Saudi Arabian to win the FIFA eWorld Cup with his triumph in 2018.

Msdossary's Timeline:

  • 2017: Signs a contract with Rogue

  • April 2018: Wins FUT Champions Cup in Manchester

  • May 2018: Qualifies in Amsterdam for the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018

  • August 2018: Becomes the second Saudi Arabian to win the FIFA eWorld Cup

  • November 2018: Wins eSports Console Player of the Year

  • December 2018: Major titles in FIFA 17, FIFA 18 and FIFA 19 – Aldossary becomes the first player in the world to achieve this feat

This success convinced Rogue to continue their investment in eFootball. "We had a fantastic year and are fully committed to the scene. We want to carry on growing," said Kevin Knocke, Vice-President of Esports at ReKT Global, which is the parent brand of Rogue.

ReKT Global acquired Rogue around a year ago and intends to use its global structures to support Rogue and give it even more of an international presence.

After Aldossary’s success, Rogue signed up two more FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Finalists, in the form of 'GoalMachine' from Canada and 'NRaseck' from Germany.

  • Niklas 'NRaseck' Raseck – Germany

  • Mosaad 'Msdossary' Aldossary – Saudi Arabia

The organisation is naturally looking to build on the success of the previous year. "Our goals are clearly to carry on winning and, on top of that, make stars of our players," says Knocke. "We want to support our three as much as possible." Find out more about FIFA eWorld Cup champion Mosaad 'Msdossary' Aldossary here.
