Over 300,000 selections so far in World11 Predictor

In the opening fortnight of this year's FIFA FIFPro World11 Predictor, more than 300,000 selections have been made by FIFA.com users, with excitement and debate around the final XI reaching fever pitch ahead of next month's The Best FIFA Football Awards™ ceremony.

The FIFA FIFPro World11 itself is decided by thousands of professional players from around the world, but the Predictor offers every football fan an opportunity to pick their dream side, composed of a goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards. If you can guess the outcome of the actual XI, to be revealed at the ceremony in Zurich on Monday 9 January, then a prize could be yours.

The Grand Prize is an adidas Jabulani football – the official ball of the landmark 2010 FIFA World Cup™ - signed by football stars of previous World11 editions, including The Best Men's Player nominee Lionel Messi, Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard and Dani Alves.

Two runners-up will also receive a prize each, a signed photograph of Samuel Eto'o or a signed photo of Diego Forlan, the former featuring in two World11 sides, and the latter receiving the adidas Golden Ball at the 2010 World Cup.

Have you made your selection yet? Join the thousands of fans who have made their choices already by registering for the Club, visiting the contest page and submitting your selection by 16.00 CET on Friday 6 January 2017.

Then, check back three days later, on Monday 9 January 2017, to FIFA.com for live coverage of the ceremony and see if your prediction was correct.

In the meantime, join the debate on Twitter, using #World11 to chat with fans about their choices, and keep up with the latest news for The Best FIFA Football Awards on the official Facebook page

As well as making their choice for the World11, fans can also have their say and vote on the FIFA Puskás Award and the inaugural FIFA Fan Award, with both votes open until the day of the ceremony itself.
