Next week on FIFA.com

In our regular Sunday feature, we preview what's on FIFA.com in the week ahead.

With the CONCACAF qualifiers for the FIFA Futsal World Cup Colombia 2016having just come to an end – a round-up of which will be coming your way at the start of the week – we now know the identity of the 24 teams who will be lining up at this year’s world finals, which take place from 10 September to 1 October.

On Thursday, all the finalists will have their eyes firmly fixed on Medellin, the venue for the Colombia 2016 final draw, an event you will enjoy a front-row view of on FIFA.com.

Spain and Germany have already booked their places at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016, but who will be Europe’s third representative at the competition? The answer to that question will be revealed on Monday, when Norway take on England in the match for third place at the UEFA Women’s U-17 Championship, a tournament we will be rounding up for you just as soon as the final ball is kicked.

The countdown to the men’s and women’s Olympic football tournaments at Rio 2016 (3-20 August) is well under way, and we will be ramping up Olympic fever a notch or two with our exclusive interviewswith Japan’s Yuya Kubo and Colombia’s Natalia Gaitan.

We will also be looking back at Algeria’s maiden FIFA World Cup™ appearance at Spain 1982 with legendary Fennec wide man Salah Assad, who also gives us his views on Les Verts’ current form and their prospects for the future.

The women’s game will take centre stage on Saturday as Sweden coach Pia Sundhage looks back at one of the high points of her playing career: the meeting between the host nation and Germany at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Sweden 1995™.

Also on Saturday, Norway’s Hege Riise will be recalling her memories of that tournament, which ended with her collecting a winners’ medal and the adidas Golden Ball.  Saturday 21 May is also the 70th birthday of Erwin Kostedde, the first black player to represent Germany.

And don’t miss our review of the season in Europe’s major leagues, which will be with you from Monday.

The above is just a snapshot of what will be waiting for you on FIFA.com in the coming days. You will also find the latest news on FIFA and FIFA tournaments, plus our usual batch of exclusive interviewsvideosphotos and other regular features. Have a great week on FIFA.com!
