Qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ is kicking back into view. A number of qualifiers will be taking place on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 March in the AFCCONMEBOLand CONCACAF zones. Be the first to know about all the goals and the final scores thanks to FIFA.com, where you will also find related statistics, analysis and quotes. Be sure to follow our Live Blog, which will be up and running again from Wednesday.

To get the week underway on Monday you can catch up with the legendary Cameroonian goalkeeper Thomas Nkono as he talks on a number of subjects, among them his pride at having inspired Gianluigi Buffon to become a goalie with his exploits for the Indomitable Lions at the 1990 FIFA World Cup™.

We will also be shining the spotlight on the rest of Africa early in the week.
