As we prepare for the 2016 Grand Final (20-22 March), we take one last look at the qualification journey for New York by announcing the official Goal of the Tournament for FIWC 2016 qualifiers.

Receiving almost half of all the votes cast, Ismail Moretti is the undisputed winner of our FIFA Interactive World Cup 2016 Goal of the Tournament! FIWC fans from all over the world hit the vote button after watching Moretti's goal.

Ismail scored his goal during the final online qualification season for the tournament. The strong, sure-footed volley came from a deep, arching cross from the far right. Not many players get to score in that manner against Barcelona, but our winner can now officially boast about not only scoring spectacularly against the mighty Barcelona, but also about winning an award for his effort!
