After the first week of qualifying, a number of teams have already put themselves in a good position to make it through to the FIFA eClub World Cup 2020. Here we take a look at the nine Pillar 1s which are the gateway to taking part in the offline event after 22 December.

The three top European teams in Tier 1 of each Pillar 1 will qualify for the FIFA eClub World Cup in February, while the best fourth-placed team from across the pillars will secure the final European qualifying berth for the FeCWC.

In all other regions, the top two teams from Tier 1 will qualify for the offline event.

Movistar Riders currently sit atop the table, and in 'AndoniiPM' and 'Zidane10' they have two former Grand Finalists in their ranks. Just behind them come FaZe Clan who already made it through qualifying last year before going on to make the semi-finals. RCD Espanyol de Barcelona surprised a few of the big names the first week and make it two Spanish teams in the top 3.

Things are looking good for Borussia Monchengladbach on the domestic and the international front at the moment, with the club currently top of both the Virtual Bundesliga and FIFA eClub World Cup qualifying. VFL Wolfsburg are faring less well in the German league but here in FIFA Club World Cup qualifying, they have hit their straps and sit second at the moment. Tricked Esport already showed their promise by making it to the FeCWC last year, and things are again looking good for the Danish outfit after the first week.

Manchester City eSports are eyeing a third appearance at the FIFA eClub World Cup and have made a strong start this time around with the same team as last year. Fierce Esports meanwhile were not on everyone’s list of teams to keep an eye on, but they caught out a few of the opposition in the first week. 'Jas1875' and 'WestHamYago‘ on the other hand are well-established players and have helped West Ham United into the top 3 of Europe Pillar 3.

Last year’s second-placed team in the FIFA eClub World Cup, Dijon Football Cote-d’Or, look to have carried their form over into this campaign and lead Europe Pillar 4. Behind them come Feyenoord eSports from the Netherlands and DUX Gaming from Spain.

Wisla All in Games Krakow are the surprise package sitting atop Europe Pillar 5, ahead of the likes of AS Roma, who currently have two players in the top 10 of the FIFA 20 Global Series Rankings, and Mkers, who reached the semi-finals of the FeCWC 2018.

Hashtag United are the early pace-setters thanks to 'Hashtag Shawrey' and 'Hashtag Harry'. Just behind come Complexity Gaming, who have this year’s Grand Finalist 'Joksan' in their ranks.

Gillette Infinity Esports find themselves at the top of the table, thanks in no small part to the performances of multiple Grand Finalist Javier Munoz. Wolverhampton Wanderers FC are right behind them, having made it through qualifying for the offline event last year already.

The Israeli-Danish combination of 'Ustun', who won the FeCWC in 2018 with Brondby, and team-mate Roee Feldman have seen Future FC up to the top of the table after week 1. Just behind them are Goliath Gaming – a South-African team who have given themselves every chance of qualifying after their week-one performance.

Shutdown ESC are the current table-toppers in Asia & Oceania, and with 'Jesus0716' in their ranks they have both quality and experience. Second-placed team Tundra esports EU meanwhile have one of the strongest line-ups in the region with 'Msdossary' and 'HoneyBadger'. Between them, these two have finished first and second at the FIFA eWorld Cup, and taken part in two FIFA eNations Cups and a FIFA eClub World Cup.

Bundled have earned promotion out of Tier 3 in European Pillar 2. 'BundledJulian' and 'Paps' racked up 51 points – the most of any team in the first week – making them worthy recipients of a place in Tier 2.
