Their eWorld Cup so far

Reigning champion 'MsDossary' goes into the semi-finals in formidable shape. The Saudi Arabian is still undefeated at the eWorld Cup and after topping Group B with a perfect record, conceding just 13 goals, impressive victories over Xbox titan 'Megabit' and Rogue team-mate 'GoalMachine' saw him into the semis. Can he become the first ever player to win back-to-back eWorld Cups?

Standing in the way of 'MsDossary' defending his crown is 'Rafsou'. The Frenchman hopes to make it an historic year for competitive FIFA in France by following his compatriots' triumph at the FIFA eNations Cup with victory at the Grand Final. 'Rafsou' demonstrated his tournament know-how by finishing second in Group B before defeating competition regulars 'Dani' and 'NRaseck'.

'MoAuba' is known for his broad smile on the competitive FIFA scene - and that smile is even wider after he progressed to the final four in London. Beginning by winning his opening four games in Group C, the man from Werder Bremen went on to lose his next three with goal difference ensuring he narrowly clinched third spot in the group. That slight blip was put behind him when he defeated last year's runner-up 'Pinna97' in the Round of 16 and eNations Cup winner 'Maestro' in the quarter-finals. Can 'MoAuba' become the first German to win a world title?

Last but not least is 'Nicolas99fc'. 'The Iceman' went into the eWorld Cup as the PlayStation No1 and was high on confidence after his triumph at the Global Series Playoffs. It was a shock, therefore, when the Argentinian lost his opening three games and was on the brink of being eliminated on the opening day. The eClub World Cup winner remained composed and produced a stunning comeback to snatch his group's last remaining knockout berth before recording dominant victories against 'Zezinho' and 'Ustun' in the knockouts.

What they said

'MsDossary'

"I’m excited to play on the big stage again. I’m feeling confident and that’s what's most important. I always seem to do well in London which gives me even more confidence. But tomorrow’s a new day and I need to perform. I hope to be the first person to win back-to-back titles and lift the trophy again. I think I have what it takes."

'Rafsou'

"I’ve made the World Cup twice before – last year and two years ago. I went out in the groups both of those times but this year I’m in the console final. France won the eNations Cup with ‘Maestro’ and ‘DaXe’, and ‘Herozia’ and ‘Moolzn’ got to the eClub World Cup final with Dijon. This is a good year for France. We won the FIFA World Cup last year in Russia and maybe this year we can win the eWorld Cup. Why not on Sunday with me? You have to be confident and believe in yourself."

'MoAuba'

"I’ve been here two times before and both times I finished in the top four. Now, I’m in console final. It’s a great feeling. I’m really happy. I’m playing ‘Nicolas99fc’ and I feel like I have nothing to lose because it’s ‘Nicolas99fc’. If I win, it will be a surprise and even then I would have to play the Final Showdown against ‘Rafsou’ or ‘MsDossary’ who are big names. When I win I’m happy but even when I lose, I’m still smiling."

'Nicolas99fc'

“I started the tournament so badly. I lost my first three games but now I’m in the PlayStation final. I had to change my style. I wasn’t playing my usual way of high possession. I was rushing, I was making defensive mistakes. But I changed my mentality and now I’m in the final. With that comeback, I’m more confident. I feel more experienced having been here last year. Winning against ‘Ustun’ was perfect for me because last year I lost in the same round against ‘Marcuzo’. I’m delighted to be in the console final."
