eFootball in February 

  • KiNG eSports pair 'F2Tekkz' and 'nicolas99fc' won FIFA eClub World Cup this month

  • Both remain top of the pile in Global Series Rankings on their respective consoles

  • 'F2Tekkz' becomes three-time FUT Champions Cup winner

The month of February was certainly one to remember for 'F2Tekkz'. After winning the FIFA eClub World Cup with KiNG eSports team-mate and PlayStation No1 ‘nicolas99fc’, the 17-year-old followed up on his success in London by winning February’s FUT Champions Cup event in Atlanta.

Extraordinarily, after his Stateside victory on Sunday 24 February, 'F2Tekkz' competed in the ePremier League club play-offs the very next day – in England – and the Xbox supremo finished top of the pile. He will now have the honour of representing his beloved Liverpool FC. FIFA.com looks back on an action-packed February in eFootball.

PlayStation After reaching the final of February’s FUT Champions Cup, ‘Tuga810’ surged a whopping 22 places in the FIFA 19 Global Series PlayStation Rankings and now sits in fourth. ‘TheStrxngeR’ also moved into the top ten after jumping two spots while the top three remain unchanged. Argentinian ace 'Nicolas99fc' continues to lead the PlayStation pack, in front of ‘StefanoPinna_21’ and 'Joksan--'. Among the big PlayStation climbers are ‘pauloneto999’ (32, up 348 places) and FIFA Interactive World Cup 2017 finalist ‘deto_official’ (100, up 573 places).

Xbox Similar to the PlayStation rankings, Xbox’s top three remains unchanged with ‘F2Tekkz’ - who has stretched his lead to over 4,500 points, ‘Msdosary’ and ‘MegaBit98’ in the podium places. ‘NRaseck 7’ jumped into fourth spot as ‘The Roy4I’ climbed into the top ten (eight, up four places). Notable big movers in the top 50 included ‘SubtleJoker9140’ (35, up 81 places), ‘Felipe Abd’ (39, up 132 places) and ‘Ichor Klinger7’ (49, up 75 places).

Germany continues to dominate the upper echelons of the FIFA 19 Global Series Rankings, with four in the top ten in PlayStation and three in Xbox. 'TheStrxngeR' joined fellow German PlayStation titans 'mo_aubameyang', 'hasoo19' and 'VfBDrErhano', while 'MegaBit98', 'NRaseck 7' and 'DullenMIKE' remain forces to be reckoned with on Xbox.
