FIFA President Gianni Infantino was at the Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi this evening for the first semi final of the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2021™. The game between Copa Libertadores champions Palmeiras from Brazil, and CAF Champions League winners Al Ahly from Egypt - that was won 2-0 by the Brazilians - saw President Infantino meet with a number of UAE and football dignitaries.

The second semi final will be played tomorrow, 9 February. AFC Champions League winners Al Hilal FC of Saudi Arabia, who dispatched host club Al Jazira FC in the previous round – a tournament record victory – will play UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, for a place in Saturday’s final.
