Zivkovic: The level of play was incredibly high

After winning the Blue Stars/FIFA Youth Cup for the first time in their history, Dinamo Zagreb goalkeeper Marko Zivkovic picked up the tournament's adidas Golden Glove award for his outstanding performances over both matchdays. FIFA.com caught up with Zivkovic after the final to get his thoughts on his team's display and his individual performance.

FIFA.com: How do you feel about winning the tournament for the first time in the club's history? Marko Zivkovic: The victory feels great, we’re delighted!

What does it mean to you to be taking home the adidas Golden Glove award? The prize for best goalkeeper is not that important for me. What is important is that we as a team won the tournament. The level of play at the event was incredibly high, making it all the more satisfying that we won.

Would you like to come back to the tournament? If we happen to be invited back again next year, I unfortunately won’t be able to come as I’ll be too old.

What was the level of play like at the tournament? We played really well. Some of the best teams in Europe, if not the world, were taking part. I’m so proud of our performance at this tournament and we’re over the moon with our win!
