Switzerland recorded an 8-6 victory over USA in what was a thrilling match to kick off Group A. Swiss head coach Angelo Schirinzi will be pleased to see his star players were up to the challenge with Noel Ott scoring a hat-trick and Dejan Stankovic bagging the opener and adding another stylish goal in the second period.
Glenn Hodel’s spectacular bicycle-kick early in the first period was another highlight moment on an overall positive start for the Europeans.
