There are a multitude of reasons why the people of Korea Republic still cherish the memories forged 15 years ago. The 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan may have seen the likes of Brazil walk away with the trophy, but it also ensured a whole raft of experiences were left with Korean football fans to hold dear.

The FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017 has helped to bring some of them flooding back, what with teams from around the globe bringing their unique brands of football the country, along with their loyal fans getting a taste of what the Asian peninsula has to offer.
