First ever U-20 World Cup point for Guinea
Fikayo Tomori own goal gifts them first ever goal

Guinea deservedly clinched their first point at the FIFA U-20 World Cup after an unfortunate own goal saw England succumb to a 1-1 draw.
On opposite sides of 3-0 wins in their openers, England had every right to be the more confident coming into the encounter. They started the brighter, having been under the cosh for much of their previous Argentina clash, but Guinea grew in confidence as the half wore on.
That only increased after the break as Oumar Toure rattled the post, but the pendulum swung the other way soon after as Lewis Cook thumped the Three Lions ahead from 25 yards. However, it was short lived.
Fikayo Tomori, under little pressure on the half-way line played a blind pass back to goalkeeper Dean Henderson, but the Manchester United man had vacated his goal and his desperate lunge could not prevent it bobbling in. It was Guinea’s first ever U-20 World Cup goal.
The African side could easily have gone ahead as Alseny Soumah found himself clean through, only to be denied by Henderson as England looked rattled. Guinea kept up the pressure as the European side crafted clear sights of goal, but a famous win was just out of reach.
