UEFA Champions League finalists last year, Juventus visited Tottenham Hotspur, while Manchester City hosted Basel in Wednesday's UEFA Champions League Round of 16, second leg, ties.

Juventus came from behind to defeat Spurs 2-1 at Wembley for a 4-3 aggregate success. Korea Republic international Son Heungmin had opened the scoring for Tottenham, but thanks to quickfire goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala in the second half, Juve secured their qualification to the last eight.

Basel defeated Manchester City 2-1 on the night, but City's 4-0 win in the first leg in Switzerland saw them advance to the quarter-finals with a 5-2 aggregate victory.
