The Chapecoense tragedy, one year ago today, united football in grief. The Brazilian club lost its entire coaching staff and 19 of its players, who were among 71 people killed when the plane carrying the squad to the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana final – the biggest match of their history - crashed in Colombia.

Since then, as the above video shows, the club and those connected to it have been attempting to bounce back, and have performed creditably in Brazil’s top flight and in their debut season in the Copa Libertadores.

As football marks this sad anniversary, FIFA requests that a minute of silence be held ahead of all matches taking place across on the world on 28 and 29 November.
