The road to the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ takes centre stage once more this week, with qualifiers set to be contested in all four corners of the planet.

Iraq-Australia, Uruguay-Ecuador, Papua New Guinea-Tahiti and Belgium-Greece are among the most eye-catching of the more than 40 games in store across Asia, South America, Oceania and Europe between Thursday and Sunday. As ever, FIFA.comwill be providing extensive coverage so that you can follow all the action: as well as live updates through our World Match Centre, we will be serving up reports, photos, analysis and exclusive interviews aplenty.

We will also be shining the spotlight on the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017, which is fast approaching. On this note, we will be bringing you the exclusive thoughts of New Zealand coach Anthony Hudson on Monday, while on Tuesday we will be diving back into the competition's history by revisiting Australia's fine run in the 1997 edition.

Likewise, we will be continuing to keep you posted on other FIFA Tournaments on the horizon, like the U-20 and U-17 World Cups, both of which will be taking place later this year.

Last but not least, you can also look forward to all of your favourite regular features, scores of videos, more exclusive interviews and a number of surprises. Have a great week of football on FIFA.com.
