Next week on FIFA.com

Kicking off the week on Monday will be an interview with the Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, the first in a series of conversations with 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ ambassadors. Among the highlights is the chance to find out about this renowned football enthusiast's experiences watching games from space.

We will also be catching up with the Israel attacker Munas Dabbur, who has not allowed his dreams of helping his country reach their first World Cup since 1970 to be dimmed by a tough qualifying group including Italy and Spain. United Arab Emirates, on the other hand, have featured in the global showpiece once before. However, that was back in 1990 and goalkeeper Majed Nasser is eager to end the wait for a repeat.

Qualification for Russia 2018 is in full swing over in Oceania right now in the shape of the OFC Nations Cup. FIFA.comwill ensure that you are the first to know about all the developments in the tournament. Meanwhile, Morocco defender Medhi Benatia is equally keen to visit Russia and will be telling us about this wish, which could come true a year early at the FIFA Confederations Cup if the Atlas Lions first run out victorious at the 2017 CAF Africa Cup of Nations.

Speaking of the so-called Festival of Champions, as the Confederations Cup is nicknamed, this Friday marks the 15th anniversary of France's victory over Japan in the final on home soil. This makes it a highly fitting day for hosts Les Bleus to get UEFA EURO 2016underway against Romania. FIFA.com will be covering the competition, the winners of which will represent Europe at Russia 2017, with daily round-ups and exclusive interviews.

On Saturday, we will be harking back to Morocco's historic victory over Portugal on 11 June 1986, at the World Cup in Mexico. Coincidentally, it was on the same date two decades later that Angola played their first ever World Cup match, and Portugal were once again the opposition on this milestone occasion. It came at Germany 2006 and Manuel Antonio Cange, better known as Locó, will be sharing his memories.

On top of all that, you will also be able to enjoy our regular features, several other exclusive interviews, scores of photos and videos, and more besides. Have a great week on FIFA.com.
