The Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup begins now! Compete in The EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series and try to qualify for the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018 where the world’s 32 best FIFA players will compete for the world title!

The EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series is the qualification journey for the FIFA eWorld Cup. Qualification runs from November 2017 to June 2018, with the final live event, and pinnacle of a year-long qualification tour, the FIFA eWorld Cup, taking place at the very end.

The Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018 is divided into three stages and offers multiple ways to qualify for the final tournament:

• Stage 1: EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series
• Stage 2: EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs
• Stage 3: FIFA eWorld Cup

The Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup
The Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup is powered by the well-established FUT Champions mode, featured in FIFA Ultimate Team on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Your qualification journey can take whatever shape you want it to! You can start playing FUT Champions online to qualify for one of the FUT Champions Cups or compete in a variety of live tournaments. No matter what path you take, all qualified players will be channelled into the FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs.

The Global Series Playoffs consist of two tournaments: (1) PlayStation 4 Playoffs and (2) Xbox One Playoffs. The 16 best PlayStation players and the 16 best Xbox One players will qualify for the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018.

Stage 1: Paths to the Playoffs
This year’s qualification tour - The EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series - offers a variety of ways for players to qualify for the FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs:

• FIFA Ultimate Team Champions Cups
• FIFA eClub World Cup
• Official League Qualifying Competitions
• Licensed Qualifying Competitions

Stage 2: EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs
All live qualification paths on the Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup feed into the EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs. There are two Playoffs in total (One for PlayStation 4 and one for Xbox One). 64 players will compete at each of the playoff events. The two live playoff events will channel all qualification winners into the final tournament – the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018. 16 winners from the PlayStation 4 Playoffs and 16 winners from the Xbox One playoffs qualify for the FIFA eWorld Cup.

• EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series PlayStation®4 Playoffs (64 players)
• EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series Xbox One Playoffs (64 players)

Stage 3: FIFA eWorld Cup
The world’s 32 best EA SPORTS™ FIFA 18 players will compete at the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018, the pinnacle of competitive FIFA gaming and a yearlong qualification tour. At the event, the 16 best Xbox One and 16 best PlayStation 4 virtual footballers on the planet will compete for the World Champion title.
