**We are in for a week of passion. With club football briefly on the back-burner, supporters of all stripes will be united by their love of their hallowed international colours and common dream: a spot at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™.

From 24 to 29 March, more than 50 qualifiers will be taking place across three confederations: the AFC, CONCACAF and CONMEBOL. The two batches of matches in the Asian zone will be of particular importance, as they will determine the final standings in the second round of qualifying, which will mark the end of the road for several countries. And FIFA.com will be bringing you exhaustive coverage so you do not have to miss a thing.

Our Live Blog will be back once again for you to follow all the matchday action. This is the perfect way to keep track of events, including the line-ups as soon as they are confirmed, all the goals as they go in and the post-game reactions. On a single screen you can enjoy photos, commentary, tweets, messages from fellow users, news, videos and more. All at your fingertips, whether you are in front of a computer or are making use of the FIFA App on a mobile phone or tablet.

Furthermore, for the first time we will be running a Live Blog on the days before matches, on Wednesday 23 and Monday 28 March. That means that you will have access to all the build-up, from team news to the last training sessions and key quotes from the camps on the eve of the games. And remember, this is an interactive tool, so we will be counting on you sharing your thoughts on the action every day.

This is not the only way to keep up with the latest qualifying news, however. All of FIFA's social media channels will be firing on all cylinders in the coming days. Follow us on Instagram for the most eye-catching pictures and on Twitter for up-to-the-minute information, while our World Cup page on Facebook will also be updated regularly.

All of this will be yours to enjoy in six languages because, besides English, Spanish, French, German and Arabic, all the latest updates regarding Russia 2018 are also available in Russian.

From Japan to Mexico, passion for football will soon be taking over the planet with two sets of matches that will give us a clearer idea of which countries are in strong contention to book their ticket to the next global showpiece.
