Those who think the FIFA World Cup™ lasts just 30 days are quite mistaken, with the greatest show on Planet Football starting well before the kick-offs of any of its 64 games. So much so that, with South Africa 2010 still nearing its conclusion, the eyes of the world’s football fans are already being drawn towards Brazil 2014.
Indeed, on Thursday 8 July Johannesburg’s Sandton Convention Centre officially get the ball rolling when hosting the launch event for the Official Emblem of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. In attendance was the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, the President of the Brazil 2014 Organising Committee and FIFA Executive Committee member, Ricardo Teixeira, and FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter.
