Their destiny in your hands

  • The Draw for France 2019 takes place on Saturday 8 December

  • FIFA.com invites you to use its Draw Simulator

  • Follow the rules and stage your very own draw

Impatience, anxiety, or a mixture of the two is a feature of the countdown to any world finals draw. Nails are bitten and prayers offered up so that fortune may smile on one team or another. The wait to see if those prayers are answered is usually a long one, though in the case of the Draw for the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™, the waiting game might not be quite so drawn out.

The simple reason for that is because FIFA.com is giving you the chance to shape destiny with our Draw Simulator, which puts the fate of the 24 finalists in YOUR hands. Thanks to the app we have created, you can run your own draw and predict which teams will go into which groups.

As you might expect, our app is as realistic as can be and allows you to carry out a draw in virtually the same conditions as the official ceremony that will decide how the groups will line up in France. So if your dream draw involves pooling heavyweights such as USA, France, Germany and Japan together in one of your groups, then you will just have to forget about it.

The Simulator follows the same rules as the Draw itself, which means it has the same seeded teams occupying the same positions in their groups and sticks to the same rules regarding teams from the same confederation being drawn in the same group. As a result, the outcome of your draw could very well be identical to that of the actual event, to be held on Saturday 8 December at the Seine Musicale in Paris.

There are only two differences between our Simulator and the Draw itself. The first concerns the identity of the teams representing the Africa and Oceania zones, as they have yet to be decided. And the second is that our Simulator and its seedings are based on this September’s FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, whereas the Ranking on which the Draw will be based is due to be revealed on 7 December, the day before it takes place.

So what are you waiting for? Take the fate of the participating teams in your hands and try to predict how the groups will look at France 2019.
