I’m not French. Can I still become a volunteer?
The FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™ Volunteer Programme is open to everyone! Candidates from all over the world can become a volunteer, but they should, however, be able to speak French and ideally possess a reasonable level of English.

Do I need to be able to speak English to take part in the Programme?
There is no absolute requirement for volunteers to have a good command of English. However, several assignments will call for the ability to express oneself fluently in English.

Can I become a volunteer if I don’t live in one of the nine towns that are hosting matches during the tournament?
Of course! However, all volunteers are responsible for their own accommodation and transport. We would advise making the necessary arrangements in advance.

Are there different ways of registering?
Volunteer registration can only be carried out online. Please click here to register.

I’ll be 16 when the tournament takes place. Can I still volunteer?
Unfortunately not; all volunteer candidates must be at least 18 years of age by 1 March 2019.

Who can register as a volunteer?
Anyone can. The Volunteer Programme is an exciting adventure and is open to everyone. You just need to be 18 or over, highly motivated and available during the tournament and related training sessions. You must be able to speak French and have a good level of English, depending on the tasks you are assigned.

Is there a cut-off date for registering?
You have until December 2018 to apply.

Does applying guarantee me a place in the Volunteer Programme?
Applicant interviews will be arranged for everyone who registers. Once the interviews are complete, you will be informed if you have been selected for the Volunteer Programme.
