Up to 100 young female players in Port Moresby had the opportunity to imitate the stars of the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup with a FIFA Live Your Goals event held on Tuesday.

Introducing young players to the fun of football is one of the primary aims of the programme, and there was certainly plenty of enjoyment based on the happy faces and constant laughter.

On hand was tournament mascot Susa and face painters, while the Official Song 'Kumul Susa’ was performed by local artists Mereani Masani and Dadiigii, energising an already enthusiastic audience.

The young players enjoyed various activities and games on the small-sided pitch set up in the Official Fan Zone.

Four previous Live Your Goals festivals have been held in Papua New Guinea in the lead-up to the tournament.
