Tom Bailey

What a wonderful final. Women’s football rocks! Congratulations to the USA for winning, and to the Netherlands, who never gave up. I’ll also be looking out for women’s football events in the future. What passion, skill and professionalism! Thank you, Lyon. A truly wonderful city to host the World Cup final in. The exquisite food and wine, the friendly and open culture of the people, stunning sights, and it was so easy to travel around on public transport. We will return!

The staff inside and outside the stadium were so nice. As my wife was heavily pregnant and as it was so hot, we were allowed through to the front of the queues every time. This was essential and we were so grateful to the nice staff and volunteers.

Andre Villalobos.

It was my first time visiting Lyon and I was very excited about going to the final. I had a friend with me so we made our first stop at the Fan Fest, where we played football darts and got a photo with the World Cup mascot! After that, we headed to the train station, which was full of fans cheering their teams all the way to the stadium. The atmosphere was building and when we arrived, we were impressed by the stadium’s amazing facilities. We had a spectacular view from our seats and we really enjoyed every single minute of the match, watching great players such as Rapinoe and Van Veenendaal. It was an amazing experience and I am really thankful that I had the opportunity to come!

I went to the match with my son, Santiago, who is also a big football fan. I had a wonderful time at the FIFA Women's World Cup final in Lyon! The atmosphere was amazing, with fans from both sides celebrating throughout the whole game. It was great day for football and women’s sport. I feel very fortunate that I was one of the 57,900 spectators in the stadium!
