Choe Kwang Sok, Korea DPR coach
I think we should have attacked more down the wings. Our mental strength is actually our biggest quality, but in today's final my players were really nervous, particularly in the first half, and this meant we were unable to put in the kind of performance we'd managed in previous games. I still think though that this side will form the basis of the new Korea DPR women's national team - just like the generation that won the trophy in 2006 in Russia.

I may have won the Silver Shoe but I really regret that we were unable to defend our U-20 Women's World Cup title.
Tony DiCicco, USA coach
We won the title because we defended really well throughout the entire tournament and because Sydney (Leroux) and Alex (Morgan) scored so many goals. If we are going to secure more titles like these, the USA needs to become more demanding as a footballing nation. When I say this, I also mean that the men and women who play the game need to do so with a greater sense of responsibility. With regards to Chile, I can tell you that my team totally fell in love with the country.
Sydney Leroux, USA striker
We came over here with the dream of winning gold. That we turned this dream into a reality is a feeling that I can't put into words. It's unbelievable, I've never felt anything like this before in my entire life. We all wept tears of joy when the final whistle went.
