France and the Netherlands are the final two European teams to win through to the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup 2020 after both sides advanced to the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship Scotland 2019 semi-finals.

Hosts at the most recent U-20 Women's World Cup, France ensured they will be competing at next year's global finals by finishing top of Group A. Gilles Eyquem's side edged Scotland 2-1 and beat the Netherlands 3-1, before drawing 3-3 with Norway to finish first with seven points.
Jessica Torny's Dutch side opened group play with a resounding 5-0 win over Norway before losing out to France 3-1 and closing out the group stage with a 4-0 win over Scotland.
France will meet Spain in the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship, while the Netherlands will take on Group B winners Germany.
France have qualified for the U-20 Women's World Cup seven times previously, and are still searching for their first trophy having finished as runners-up at Papua New Guinea 2016, third at Canada 2014 and fourth twice.
The Netherlands competed at the U-20 Women's World Cup for the first time at last year's edition in France, where they got as far as the quarter-finals, only to be edged 2-1 by eventual third-place finishers England.
