The line-up is now complete! With the qualification of Brazil and Paraguay on Sunday, the identity of all 16 participating teams at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup France 2018 is now known. However, there are still some other key slots to be filled – ones that will allow successful applicants to experience this wonderful event up close. We are, of course, referring to the tournament volunteers.

In total, some 600 volunteers will be recruited for this event and divided among the tournament’s four host venues: Concarneau, Vannes, Dinan-Lehon and Saint-Malo. Volunteers will be offered one of 25 functions in 13 distinct areas, such as spectator assistance, match services or media duties.

"We know from previous experiences that France produces an exceptional number of volunteers," said Brigitte Henriques, deputy vice-president of the French Football Federation and vice-president of the France 2018 Local Organising Committee. "Through their commitment, they form the heart of our collective community, while their passion and energy will contribute to the success of the U-20 Women's World Cup France 2018. It’s an extraordinary human and sporting adventure that you get to experience."

To become a volunteer, there are just three requirements: You must be motivated to play an active role in hosting the event, be at least 18 years old by 1 May 2018 and be available as a minimum on matchdays and for your training. The recruitment period runs until the end of April 2018.
