- Matchday 6 at Brazil 2019
- Group E: Cameroon and Argentina meet desperate for wins
- Group F: Mexico-Italy tops the bill in Brasilia
Having negotiated their opening matches at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Brazil 2019™, the eight teams in Groups E and F return to action on Thursday, continuing their quest for places in the last 16.
Held to a draw by Argentina, Spain are on the hunt for points against a Tajikistan side that stunned Cameroon in their Group E opener and have designs on qualifying for the next round with a game to spare.
Meanwhile, the meeting between Cameroon and Argentina should be an entertaining one, given both sides’ need for points after their opening games.
Over in Group F, Paraguay will be looking for three points against Solomon Islands, who have yet to score their first goals at an 11-a-side FIFA tournament. The South Americans have little margin for error after drawing their first match.
A win or draw against Mexico will take Italy one step closer to the next round. The Italians impressed in sweeping aside Solomon Islands in their group opener, while the Mexicans are in need of points following a goalless stalemate with Paraguay.
