Brazil book quarter-final place

Brazil qualified for the quarter-finals after coming from behind to beat Croatia 3-1 in the FIFA U-17 World Championship Trinidad & Tobago 2001 presented by JVC.

Both teams scored in the opening seven minutes at Hasely Crawford Stadium, with Dejan Prijic putting Croatia ahead with a deflected shot and Bruno equalizing with a solo effort. Leandro put Brazil in front in the 58th minute before substitute Caetano capitalized on a defensive mistake to seal the win 13 minutes from time.
