Live Your Goals Player of the Match

FIFA launched the Live Your Goals campaign at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2011™ in Germany, with the aim of promoting and encouraging football for girls.

In 2014, the initiative will be more prevalent than ever before in FIFA’s female competitions. After every game played in women's tournaments from now on, the standout performer will receive a commemorative diploma and that player will be known as the Live Your Goals Player of the Match.

During the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2014, experts from FIFA’s TSG (Technical Study Group) will pick a player deserving of the honour after the final whistle. The name of that footballer will then be announced in the stadium and the player will receive their diploma in a press conference after the match.

In this section, you will be able to see which footballers have been chosen as the Live Your Goals Player of the Match at Costa Rica 2014. The name of those players will also be included in our match report after each each game.
