A crucial part of the Local Organising Committee’s work is assisting the players, as that shapes their perceived image of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016. Volunteers will serve as a supportive point of contact for broadcasters at all stadia, providing them with the necessary support and information as needed.
Volunteers will direct spectators entering the stadia and support ticket holders as required.
Volunteers who are allocated to the Marketing Operations team will be given a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to the below:
• Supporting the activities of FIFA’s management and the Local Organising Committee’s marketing departments
• Supporting FIFA’s and the Local Organising Committee’s marketing teams with the implementation of various marketing activities at the stadium
• Control value in kind (VIK) stock-levels and ordering requirements
• Assisting in the storage of marketing equipment
• Monitoring the condition of stadium signage, and food and beverage equipment
The media operations volunteers will help journalists and photographers at the media centres in the stadia, media tribunes, photo-shoots, press conferences, and in mixed zones. They will also welcome media personnel and provide them with the necessary operational information.
The Youth Chaperon will support the implementation of the FIFA Youth Program, supervise all training and rehearsal sessions at the stadia, as well as meet the youth’s needs during matches.
Volunteers will assist at the arrivals’ and departures’ areas of the parking facilities, making sure that all spectators and staff are receiving the easiest access.
