Japan and Korea DPR have qualified for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Jordan 2016 by virtue of reaching the final of the AFC U-16 Women's Championship.
The Japanese were the first to book their place after 8-0 victory over Thailand in the first semi-final.
Riko Ueke and Hinata Miyazawa each scored twice as the defending champions showed their class in Wuhan.
The second semi-final, also at the Xinhua Road stadium, was a much tighter affair but Ri Hae-yon's brace proved to be decisive as the Koreans ran out 2-1 winners over the hosts.
Ri opened the scoring within two minutes, but China came back strongly and drew level after the hour mark when Zheng Linyan scored from close range. However, the Korean No9 netted with just three minutes remaining to send her team through to the final and to Jordan.
