Born in 1966, Jill Ellis is the eighth coach in the history of USA women's national team and the Portsmouth, England native is set to navigate the Stars and Stripes through Group D at the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™.

Ellis, who moved to the United States when she was 15, has served as the Development Director for the U.S. Women’s National Teams since January 2011. After a stint in 2012 as the interim head coach and again briefly after Tom Sermanni's departure, Ellis was handed the reins in May 2014.

After just over a year in her role, Ellis will be sending her side north to compete against the world's best at Canada 2015.
