Fans voted for their favourite FIFA World Cup™ game from the past nine editions, and the sixth of those winning matches – USA-Mexico from Korea/Japan 2002 – was streamed 'live' in its entirety on Friday 27 April.
The North American neighbours met for the first time at the World Cup, arriving at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium for their Round of 16 clash with Mexico arriving into the encounter having topped their group ahead of Italy. USA meanwhile had earned an impressive win over Portugal to reach the knockout stage for first time since 1930.
As with any big World Cup game, fans were kept up to date with major updates of the 'live' action on Twitter on @FIFAWorldCup too, with plenty of pre-match stats, figures and videos that whetted fans' appetite for the main event.
