Two million-plus rivals couldn’t decipher the wizardry – Magicstick91 is the McDonald’s FIFA World Cup™ Fantasy champion for Russia 2018 and winner of an amazing Grand Prize, highlighted by a brand new Kia Sportage. Loaibarca finished with a whopping 68 points to rocket from seventh to second and seize coach Loai.Alrwas the second-place prize, decorated by a Hisense television, while Sladuna, YazanYaz and Floydeth claimed the third-to-fifth-placed prizes.

The Grand Prize

Magicstick91 boldly unleashed their two Boosters early, and it bore fruit. With Magicstick’s Bench Boost active in Round 1, the coach incredibly managed a maximum seven clean sheets and had two-goal Harry Kane as captain. After having Kane in the armband again in Round 2, which was worth an almighty 32 points, Magicstick81’s Maximum Captain meant Andreas Granqvist had his 12 points doubled into 24 in Round 3.

A lamentable Round 4 saw Magicstick freefall from fifth, but those who wrote them off would regret it. Magicstick81 produced three exceptional rounds thereafter, with courageous captain choices including Corentin Tolisso and Ivan Perisic paying dividends and sending them into the last two matches in third, one point off the pace.

With the coaches above them, Sladuna and Jerseyman8, taking 56 and 37 points respectively, Magicstick91 benefitted bulkily from Belgians in the playoff for third place, with Thibaut Courtois (7 points), Vincent Kompany (6), Thomas Meunier (12) and captain Eden Hazard (6, doubled to 12) proving just enough to stave off the supersonic sprint home of Loai.Alrwas.

Second Prize

Rather than put Kevin De Bruyne or Eden Hazard, who were way more popular captain choices, in his armband on Saturday, Loai.Alrwas gave it to Thomas Meunier, who got a huge 12 points doubled into 24. Impressively, five of the coach’s ten outfield players scored a goal in Round 7, which helped Loaibarca clinch a colossal 68 points and leap from seventh to second.

Prize

Florid’s six players in the Final returned merely 15 points between them, which ultimately put paid to the hopes of the co-leaders going into Round 7, but coach Sladuna made some genial decisions over the tournament. YazanX was another team that was always there or thereabouts, but YazanYaz will rue seizing just 39 points from the semi-finals. Putin In A Shift, meanwhile, exceptionally came from 131st after the group stage to steam home in fifth.
