The 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ is getting closer – 57 days to go!

In less than two months' time – on 14 June, to be precise – the 21st FIFA World Cup™ kicks off at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium, as the hosts take on Saudi Arabia.​

57 The number of players who have found the net for Argentina at the FIFA World Cup. Luis Monti opened the nation's account against France in the group stage at Uruguay 1930, while their most recent scorer at the tournament was Gonzalo Higuain in the Brazil 2014 quarter-finals against Belgium.

Other players to score World Cup goals for La Albiceleste in the 84 years between those two strikes include big-name stars such as Guillermo Stabile, Mario Kempes, Diego Maradona, Gabriel Batistuta and Lionel Messi, as well as lesser-sung heroes Carlos Peucelle, Daniel Bertoni and Jose Luis Brown.
