A nightmare has a fairy tale end for English school pupils

Following an appeal by the Britisch Prime Minister Tony Blair and Sports Minister Richard Caborn on behalf of a group of English school pupils who fell foul of a World Cup fake ticket scam, FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter and the world governing body of football were able to exceptionally provide a sufficient number of tickets for the quarter final match between England and Portugal thus turning a nightmare into a fairy tale end.

The victims, aged between 11 and 16, were turned away from the match Czech Republic against Ghana on 17 June after their tickets failed to materialise. They returned home, many of them devastated that they had missed out on this once in a lifetime opportunity.
