Important guidelines for all photographers regarding Semi-Finals, Third place and Final

The system of priority groups which has been successfully employed at the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany will be amended to expedite ticket distribution and help avoid long queues prior to the match. This is due to the larger number of photographers selected for each match and to ease the long lines encountered at earlier matches.

The photographers selected for each match will continue to be divided into three priority groups. Photographers in the highest priority group may still select a seat three hours before kick-off. The second group follows 30 minutes later, and the third group a further 30 minutes after this.

All photographers approved for a ticket will now be required to first collect a numbered voucher between the hours of 10:00 and 18:00 on match day (19:00 hours for the Final in Berlin). These vouchers will be issued on a first come, first served basis at the Help Desk. Vouchers will match the colour of the priority list.

As customary, three separate priority lists (in three different colours) will be published and clearly posted in the respective SMC. Photographers can check to which priority group they have been assigned at the SMC or the FIFA Media Channel.

Photographers will still be required to collect their match ticket beginning 3 hours before kick-off. Photographers may only collect thier match ticket when thier voucher number is called by the FIFA/LOC media officer.

A photographer can now avoid the long queues within the SMC and the need to "reserve" their place in line.
