Accreditation Center opens in Munich
The opening of the Main Accreditation Centre at the Munich Exhibition Hall on Tuesday 9 May 2006 kicks off the official accreditation of the 200,000 people who will be working in some official capacity at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and will therefore require access to the stadia and other facilities under the control of FIFA and the LOC.
Accreditation Centre Opening Dates/Times plus Addresses
The Main Accreditation Centre, located at the West entrance to the exhibition hall will distribute work passes to 11,500 TV and radio personnel, most of whom will be working at the Munich Exhibition Hall in the International Broadcast Centre (IBC).
The accreditation centre will be open until 11 June and will be supported during the peak period after 8 June by an additional accreditation centre at the North entrance.
The twelve accreditation centres located at the host venues will open 15 days before the first game at the stadium. Internally, accreditations for major groups such as the fire service and security services have been distributed since 1 May, with 80,000 Access Cards produced to date.
