The FIFA U-20 World Cup, a tournament that served as a springboard for players like Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba and countless other superstars, will be held in Poland in 2019.

The group stage draw was made on Sunday 24 February 2019 on FIFA.com, FIFA on Youtube and Facebook. FIFA legends Bebeto and Fernando Couto made the draw.

The broadcast was streamed from the Gdynia Arena, one of the most modern venues of its kind in Poland. A multifunctional arena, it not only provides the stage for sporting competitions, but also for concerts, conferences, exhibitions and trade shows.

The Gdynia Arena is part of the Gdynia Sport Centre, as is the stadium where some of the matches will take place. At the draw, the 24 participating teams discovered their group stage opponents at the upcoming tournament.
