  • 53,734 tickets for Poland 2019 sold in first day

  • All three games for the hosts prove very popular

  • Tickets for the final and semi-final in Lodz also in high demand

Within 24 hours of the launch of the Visa Presale phase for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Poland 2019, a total of 53,734 tickets have been allocated on FIFA.com/tickets/U20WC, which is the only official platform for fans to secure their tickets.

Besides the opening match and the two subsequent group matches for the Polish national team, the most sought-after games are the final in Lodz and the semi-final to be played on 11 June in Lublin – there are currently no tickets left for these matches.

Despite the huge demand and the potential waiting time to access the website, FIFA encourages all fans to visit FIFA.com/tickets/U20WC and check the traffic light system, which gives an indication about ticket availability by match.

The Visa Presale phase will conclude on 5 March, at 12:00 CET .

As of 7 March at 13:00 CET, fans will have the opportunity to apply for tickets on a first-come, first-served basis until the day of the final, 15 June.

Fans will be able to “print at home”, meaning that everyone who has been successful on FIFA.com/tickets/U20WC will receive his/her tickets electronically and be able to print them at home in A4 format.

Each ticket will include a unique barcode that will be checked and validated at the stadium gate. No tickets will be sold at the stadiums.
