FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2006: boarding completed!

With Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC having won last week's AFC Champions League, and their African counterparts Al Ahly completing the table on Saturday, all six teams taking part in the forthcoming FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2006 from 10 to 17 December are now known:

AFC:    Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (Korea Republic) CAF:   Al Ahly (Egypt) CONCACAF:  Club América (Mexico) CONMEBOL:  Sport Club Internacional (Brazil) OFC :   Auckland City FC (New Zealand) UEFA:   FC Barcelona (Spain)

By winning the 2006 CAF Champions League, Al Ahly has become the first team ever to qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup two years in a row.

Now that the identity of AFC's and CAF's representatives has been revealed, the line-ups for matches 1 and 2 can be announced. The opening match in Toyota at 19.20h on 10 December 2006 will pit Auckland City FC against Al Ahly. The following day, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC will take on Club América in the National Stadium in Tokyo.

The winner of match 1 will meet Sport Club Internacional in the semi-finals and the winner of match 2 will face Barcelona.

Ticketing The final phase of ticket sales for international fans (residing outside Japan) will continue until 30 November on FIFA.com ( www.FIFA.com > Men's & Youth > FIFA Club World Cup).

Media accreditation The media accreditation process is due to expire on 17 November 2006. Requests for accreditation from either the Japanese or international media should be made on the form available on FIFA.com ( www.FIFA.com > Mens & Youth > FIFA Club World Cup).
