The process:

The contenders for The Best FIFA Men’s and Women’s Players, and The Best FIFA Men’s and Women’s Coaches and The Best Men’s and Women’s Goalkeepers will be revealed on 26 November. The shortlists will be trimmed to three finalists in each of these categories at a later date.

The 11 goals in contention for the 2020 FIFA Puskás Award - as chosen by a panel of experts – will also be announced in on 26 November, with a vote kicking off on FIFA.com to determine the final three candidates – one of whom will succeed 2019 winner Daniel Zsori. The nominees for the FIFA Fan Award will be revealed too, with voting on FIFA.com beginning at the same time.

The players nominated for both the FIFA/FIFPro Men’s and Women’s World11 will be revealed at a later date.

You can keep up with all the build-up to The Best FIFA Football Awards on all FIFA’s digital platforms: FIFA.com, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

The lists:

A number of different expert groups will draw up the initial lists. The award winners for players (including Goalkeepers and the Puskas Award) and coaches will be chosen by an international jury consisting of national team captains, national coaches, members of the media and football fans.

In deliberating over the 2020 FIFA Fan Award, a panel of experts will pick out the three most spectacular and emotional moments witnessed in football stands around the globe in the 2019/20 season. FIFA.com users will be able to vote online for their favourite fan moment and ultimately decide the winner of the 2020 FIFA Fan Award.

The 2020 FIFA Fair Play Award will be decided by a panel of football experts and will be presented on stage on 17 December at The Best FIFA Football Awards.
