As in previous years, the FIFA Quality Programme will be represented at the 2017 International Trade Fair for Amenity Areas, Sports and Pool Facilities (FSB) by a team armed with a whole wealth of information about football turf. The FSB provides the programme team and their co-exhibitors World Rugby and the International Hockey Federation (FIH) with an ideal platform to discuss current problems and new development projects with industry representatives, architects, local authorities and member associations.

The three organisations (FIFA, World Rugby and the FIH) will also be presenting the One Turf Concept at the IAKS Congress taking place at the same time. Local authorities, cities and architects in particular will have an opportunity to discover the minimum criteria in terms of safety and playing conditions where football turf pitches are to be used for multiple sports.

FIFA Quality ProgrammePart of the Football Technology Innovation Department, the FIFA Quality Programme sets internationally recognised industry standards for products, technologies and pitches that have a direct effect on football.

Since its introduction in 2001, the standard of the programme for football turf has been constantly improved to meet new challenges.
