AC Milan’s midfielder and Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng will visit FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter at the Home of FIFA on Friday 22 March 2013.

Boateng, who led teammates off the field in protest over racist chants from fans during a friendly match in January, was invited by President Blatter to exchange views on the best way to fight against racism in football.

Boateng’s visit comes shortly after the creation of the FIFA’s Anti-Discrimination Taskforce, announced by the FIFA President in early March, and the day after the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination held by the United Nations in Geneva.

President Blatter and Mr. Boateng will give a brief statement for media at the end of the meeting, around 12.45 CET on Friday 22 March. However, please note that this scheduled time is subject to change and may vary depending on the duration of the meeting. Accredited media are also invited to photograph and film the arrival and welcome of Kevin-Prince Boateng, at 11:30 CET.
