Shiho Matsubara and Asato Miyagawa don’t adhere to traditional warm-up techniques.

Before Japan’s match against New Zealand at the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, the Asian side’s No2 and No6 practised jumping for an imaginary football, which made them look like Siamese twins.

It didn’t do them any harm, though. Miyagawa delivered an assured performance and Matsubara rose from the bench to seal a 3-0 victory, which sent Japan through to the knockout phase as Group C winners, with 15 goals for and zero against.
